(Worthy News) – A high-ranking officer in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps was killed Monday morning during a military operation in Syria, Iranian media outlets reported.
The reports named the officer as 2nd Brig. Gen. Abolfazl Alijani. A native of Isfahan, Alijani was a senior officer in the IRGC’s ground forces and served as a “military advisor” in Syria.
