(Worthy News) - French investigators are trying to establish the veracity of claims that ISIS plotted to send child recruits from Syria to Europe to carry out terrorist attacks, according to a report by the daily newspaper Le Monde, based on the interrogation of a suspect in French custody.
Jonathan Geffroy, a 35-year-old French jihadist who was arrested last year while trying to escape from Syria with his family, reportedly revealed the plan during questioning.
The reported plan involved the recruitment and training of children in Syria, who after adolescence would be sent to France and other countries in Europe to commit attacks. [ Source: CNS News (Read More...) ]
