(Worthy News) - President Donald Trump and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker spoke at the White House Wednesday to say they are negotiating a deal to end most tariffs, trade barriers, and industrial subsidies between Europe and the United States.
Trump said the meeting successfully launched a new phase in the U.S.’s relationship with the E.U., which Trump has characterized as a problem for the American economy. He said they made improvements on security and the economy, saying the economic reforms are those in which "both of us will win."
"I just want to conclude by saying this was a very big day for free and fair trade," Trump said. "A very big day, indeed." [ Source: Washington Free Beacon (Read More...) ]
